Jasper Conran fall 2011 handbags London Fashion Week

Jasper Conran sent his fall 2011 collection down the London Fashion Week runway earlier today and it was filled with basic, dark winter colors and a splash of bold texture. Jasper Conran had one distinct handbag on the London Fashion Week catwalk which was right on trend and practical for everyday life; the Cross Body Messenger bag. The Cross Body Messenger Bag has been mildly popular for spring 2011 and is showing strength as the fashion world moves into fall 2011. The Cross Body Messenger Bag was spotted on the runways of New York Fashion Week and is continuing to be seen on London catwalks as London Fashion Week progresses. Jasper Conran’s Cross Body Messenger bag shown on the runway is black and roomy enough to be used for work or as a weekender. The cross body strap is thick, and when worn across the body, allows the messenger bag to fall right at the middle of the hip bone. Jasper Conran paired the suede, cross body bag with a 1960’s inspired black shorts jumpsuit worn with opaque black tights and suede, knee-high boots. In addition to the cross body messenger bag, Jasper Conrad showed a silver sequin evening bag on the catwalk which featured a small silver metal handle and glistened as the model walked. The evening bag was a fresh take on a formal classic and was small enough to be considered formal yet roomy enough to fit a small wallet, lipstick, smart phone and keys.
